DETAILS: 

Submit 1-3 original, previously-unpublished poems in English. There must be no poet identity information in the poem(s). Poems should be in the format in which you wish them to appear on the page.

SUBMIT EITHER BY EMAIL OR U.S. MAIL

Electronically:

     -To sfblair61@gmail.com.

     -Subject line should read “SSPJ 2021 Submission.”

     -Attach your poems in ONE .doc or .docx document.

     -One poem per page, Times New Roman 12-pt. font.

     -In the body of your email, provide your name, address, phone number, email address, poem title(s) and a brief (one paragraph) bio.

Include typed cover letter with your name, address, phone number, email address, poem title(s) and a brief (one paragraph) bio.

Poem(s) must be typed, or written clearly (illegible poems will not be accepted).

ELIGIBILITY:

Residents of Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Kittitas, Yakima, Benton or Klickitat County.

OPTIONAL:

Tax-deductible donation of $10 ($5 students & seniors) defrays publication and mailing costs.

Publication of your work or receipt of your donation entitles you to a complimentary copy of the Journal.

Poems will be read blind by a jury.
