In October and November, the Winthrop Gallery presents a show by its co-operative member artists about former times.  Even in a relatively young country like ours, we are surrounded by artifacts that speak to us about people and times long gone.  Remnants of abandoned homesteads, derelict farm equipment, and even fossil evidence of ancient forests are reminders of passing times.  Recent past or time out of mind, all of these will be explored through paintings, photographs, fabric and mixed-media artworks.
