About The Artist

My work revolves around the concepts that are intriguing to me. Language – be it poetry, isolated words, or symbols that represent words, generally are inscribed on the canvas prior to the first layer of paint. 

I work in acrylic primarily. I like the speed with which the paint can be worked. As a mother of two, my time in the studio is often fragmented and rushed. Plus little fingers have a way of finding everything that shouldn’t be touched.
