Color Talk with Kimberly Trowbridge

Join Kimberly Trowbridge for a lecture on how historical and contemporary artists use Color to express meaning and perception, with a hands-on demonstration of color mixing strategies for responding to observed color relationships.
Her artist bio:
Kimberly Trowbridge was born in Everett, WA. She is a two-time Neddy Award Finalist (2014, 2016), and an Artist Trust GAP Grant recipient (2014). She received an MFA from University of Washington in 2006. She is the Director of the Trowbridge Atelier of Modernist Painting, at Gage Academy of Art, Seattle. She is a plein-air painter, a figure painter, an installation artist, a performer, and a lecturer on color theory. She leads plein-air painting tours in Spain, Portugal, and Twisp, WA, where she shares her passion for responding to color relationships in nature.
