Award-winning children’s book author Dia Calhoun will offer a free writing workshop for kids and talk about EVA OF THE FARM and AFTER THE RIVER THE SUN, her two books set right here in the Methow Valley. The workshop will be on Saturday, October 12, from 3:00-4:30 pm at Trail’s End Bookstore. Advance sign-up is recommended.

Dia was recently a featured author at the Mazama Book Festival. She is the author of eight books for kids and teens, and won the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Children’s Literature.
