Last Sunday @ the Interpretive Center: Premier of Charley Family DVD
Sun, June 29, 2014, 3pm
This “Last Sunday” event will be the Methow Valley Interpretive Center’s (MVIC) premier showing of Charley Family DVD, featuring descendants of the last full-blood Methow Native. Charley is credited by many as having helped save the Colville Reservation in the 1950’s. The family still has one of the few existing property allotments left from the original land agreements with the tribe. The newly completed Native pit house at the MVIC is now open to the public.
