Love, Loss and What I Wore
January 11, 12, 2019 7pm
By Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, based on the novel by Illene Beckerman
Why is there nothing to wear in a closet full of clothes? Who said never wear white before Memorial Day? Does this make me look too fat? Does this make me look too skinny? Ohhhh, I wore that dress on our first date. Oh, I wore that dress to a funeral.
Our relationship with clothes is long and deep. Love, Loss and What I Wore examines what it feels like to own nothing that fits, nothing in the right color, too many items in black, plus all of the memories that go along with what we wore and when we wore it. From Nora and Delia Ephron, creators of When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail, and Sleepless in Seattle, comes ahost of of hilarious, touching, and poignant vignettes in this play based on the book by Ilene Beckerman.
Fifteen local women read onstage this weekend for two nights only. Bring a friend and don’t miss out. There is no dress code! All seats are general admission, so come early and enjoy a drink in our concessions area.
