Margaret Kingston presents “Methow Awakening” at Confluence Gallery in the Community Gallery from October 5 through November 16. The opening for Margaret’s show coincides with the opening for “Oil & Water Plein Aire show in the main gallery on October 5 from 5-7pm.

Margaret’s hyperrealistic oil landscapes demonstrate her love in awe for the North Cascades Mountain range and the surrounding scenery.

“My oil paintings are just some of the many spectacular views, moments, colors, shapes, and energetic light that I love about everyday life here,” says Margaret. “Since our move to the valley from New Hampshire in 2012 I’ve spent countless hours consumed by this landscape. It has awakened my desire to create.”

Margaret has been a featured artist throughout the Methow Valley and was the Artist in Residence at the Confluence Gallery in 2016 and the Methow Arts featured artist in the Winter 2016/17 edition of ART Magazine.
