Michael Brady in concert to benefit Room One

Pianist Michael Brady presents two concerts on Oct. 1 and Oct. 8, Both will be held at The Merc Playhouse and benefit Room One, a local nonprofit social service agency in Twisp.
The concerts will include the composer’s last major works for the piano as well as Brady’s commentary on them, on Chopin’s life at the time, and on the end of the composer’s nine-year relationship with the notorious writer Madame George Sand.
Chopin’s later works will include two nocturnes, the Polonaise-Fantaisie, Chopin’s Third Piano Sonata and other pieces.
