On July 23, 2022, The Winthrop Gallery artists present a new exhibit “Mid-Summer Light and Night”. This show offers freshly created and crafted works celebrating a favorite time of year. Mid-summer light, with its clear crispness, lazily gives way to the muted hues of heated afternoons before fading into the cooling dark of night. Artists will use the extreme contrast of light and dark to form their inspirations.
