Shafer Museum: Thalia Brass Quintet Concert

The Thalia Brass Quintet will provide an outdoor concert at the Shafer Historical Museum in Winthrop on Saturday, June 6 at 3:00 pm. The Thalia Brass Quintet is composed of the principal brass players and second-trumpet of the
Thalia Symphony. Founded in 1948, the Thalia Symphony is one of the oldest community orchestras in the Seattle area and performs a series of concerts each season in Town Hall.
The program for the June 6th concert will include selections by J. S. Bach, George Gershwin, Victor Ewald, and Leonard Bernstein. The Quintet will also perform a piece composed by local resident and composer Lynette Westendorf.
