Shop Local @ Methow Arts
Winter 2021/22
Have you ever seen the Methow Arts offices at 2nd and Glover and wondered what was inside? Next time, come in for a visit! The staff love connecting with our community, and have so much to share:
- Shop creations from local artists, many of whom instruct for our Youth Arts Initiative program or work in regional elementary schools as teaching artists. We have goodies from crocheted critters from Linda Harvey, a variety of creations from Amber Zimmerman, handmade candles from Bo Thrasher, artwork from Bethany Wray and more. Don’t forget your Methow Arts swag! We have t-shirts, sweatshirts and bags from eqpd made right here in Twisp.
- Experience Claire Waichler’s multimedia “scrolls” that explore evidence and ideas of climate change, glacier science, and speculative futures in the North Cascades.
- Buy tickets for the Dusty 45s performance January 21st at the Winthrop Barn.
- Pick up our free, quarterly magazine featuring Dr. Michelle Jack, , a member of the syilx/Northern Okanagan/Penticton Indian Band who describes herself as an abstract image maker/scholar, draws on this wide range of art forms to tell the essential stories of her people and the land.
- Chat with us! We love to hear your thoughts and ideas, and to tell you more about what we do.
