Vitrified – Etsuko Ichikawa & Tar Sands Project – Corwin Clairmont
October 4-26, 2019, Opening Reception: Fri, Oct 4, 5-8pm
Don’t miss the opportunity to view works by two powerful Northwest voices, Corwin Clairmont and Etsuko Ichikawa. These celebrated artists create poignant works rooted deeply in their heritage and identities. Corwin combines his experience as a native person and tribal member, sharing a post-modernist view of the realities of life as indigenous people struggle to retain their identities and sovereignty into the 21st century.
